The Storm Is Over

Hlengiwe Mhlaba brings a focused Gospel release with The Storm Is Over, a four-track EP set for 16 October 2026. The project keeps the spotlight firmly on her, with all four songs credited to the South African Gospel artist.

The EP opens with Somandla Mkhulu before moving into its title track, The Storm Is Over. That central placement gives the release a clear tracklist anchor, while Uyenzisisa and Wehla complete the compact set.

Across its four songs, The Storm Is Over keeps the arrangement concise rather than stretching into a long album format. There are no listed guest appearances, so the project is presented as a fully solo Hlengiwe Mhlaba release from start to finish.

The EP also carries its Gospel identity directly through the project title and tracklist, with Somandla Mkhulu, Uyenzisisa and Wehla joining the title song in the final sequence. For listeners following new Gospel music in 2026, the release offers a short, direct set to explore when it arrives.
